【作品について】
漫画家 大友克洋氏 が原画・監修を手がけた大型陶板レリーフ《Procession Spin》は、2025年より 銀座駅 B1出口付近に設置されているパブリックアートです。
縄文時代の土器から仏像、現代の造形、速度感あふれる未来的なイメージまで、人間が生み出してきたさまざまな表現が大きな流れの中に配置されています。
それぞれの時代に込められた想いや祈りが形を変えながら受け継がれ、現在から未来へと続いていく人間の創造の連なりを表現した作品です。
作品は 高さ約2.4m、幅約7m、161個の陶板によって構成され、約 290種類の釉薬を組み合わせた豊かな色彩と立体的な質感が特徴です。細部には金箔や特殊な釉薬が用いられ、巨大なスケールと精密な造形によって強い存在感を放っています。

本作品は、このパブリックアート《Procession Spin》を制作するために 大友克洋氏が描き下ろした原画をもとに制作されたジークレー作品です。

[About the Artwork]
The original ceramic relief at Ginza Station measures 2.4m in height and 7m in width. It depicts the flow of human creativity, ranging from ancient Jomon pottery and Buddhist statues to futuristic imagery. It represents the continuum of human thought and prayer throughout history, evolving into the future.
